In the 80's, Alex Fletcher(Hugh Grant) was a successful singer of the band POP wt Collin Thompson(Scott Porter),but when they split, his solo career was a complete failure. He only Sing his old hits in amusement parks, school reunions or dinner parties to survive. His manager and friend Chris Riley(Brad Garret) schedules a meeting with the successful teen singer Cora Corman(Halley Bennet) and Alex has a chance to be promoted in a show if he delivers a new song for Cora's concert in the end of the week. Alex has difficulties to put lyrics in his melody, but he accidentally discovers Sophie Fisher(Drew Barrymore), who is temporarily watering his plants and proves to be a sensitive poet and efficient lyricis.

Summary:
Losing her mother at a young age, Misaki Yoko (Ueto Aya) was raised amongst three brothers. Yoko is a slightly boyish girl who is bullheaded and hates dishonesty. Ever since she was young, she enjoyed the company of boys over girls. She starts a band with four of her boy friends and becomes the lead singer. Then one day, one of the members of the band, Tsukasa, gets a job at a bank in Tokyo. Due to Tsukasa leaving town, the band breaks up and though Yoko finds herself lonely, she puts on a strong act in front of Tsukasa. She can't tell Tsukasa how she truly feels for him. On the day Tsukasa leaves for Tokyo, Yoko goes along with the band members to the airport to see him off. The guys get excited when they see some cabin crew ladies and Yoko has no idea why. She reminds them that even she can wear a uniform, but the guys only make fun of her. That's when Tsukasa tells Yoko he wonders what she'd look like dressed in uniform. This is when Yoko decides she wants to work as a Cabin Attendant.

Summary:
This testosterone-fueled movie is about a shy boy named Hyun Soo who transfers to an unruly boys school. When the incorrigible students aren’t fighting each other, they’re selling pornography, drinking at discos and extorting money from each other. It seems like the school is the training ground of future gangsters. The main character, Hyun Soo, is meek because of his violent father, but a series of events helps him come out of his shell.
One of the school’s kingpins is the ultra-cool bad boy Woo-Sik. Woo Sik is always kicking butts and no one messes with him. Woo-Sik takes Hyun Soo under his wing after Hyun Soo displays excellent skills on the basketball court. Despite their opposite personalities, the pair become good friends until a pretty and virtuous girl, Eun Joo, comes into the picture and inadvertently tears their relationship apart. Hyun Soo, who is painfully shy, harbors a secret crush on Eun-Joo, but it’s the aggresive Woo-Sik who wins her affection. Hyun Soo is inwardly devastated when he sees them together, so he decides to concentrate on mastering Jeet Kune Do, the martial art that Bruce Lee made famous.
